Our Voice Program

Black women often struggle for our voices to be truly listened to and understood. Our voices matter. Our thoughts have value. Our experiences coupled with collective thought give rise to our voices having meaning, which have the capacity to make positive change.

Reading, writing, and sharing thoughts is our platform under “Our Voices”. Authentically communicating through this platform is yet another way to bond, exhale, and feel belonging.

Under Our Voices Program, we will listen, learn, and acknowledge members and supporters as we speak to educate and share insights.

Our Books & Convo Club is one means of utilizing our voice through discussions as we network and share insights of what we have read, learned, and experienced.  Here members recommend books to read. Our book chat reviews are monthly at an in-person location. We will laugh, cry, giggle and just be as we grow and relax into our own breathing spaces. Our voices are beautiful and can change the world. It is the Year of Us! Sistahs Winning in Life & Law.

Our Purple Pulse Gazette provides a means for members to write articles, share information, and spotlight sponsors in various ways. The newsletter has a broad reach of lawyers and supporters throughout Florida.

Our Purple Podcast will continue to share pertinent information on camera of current events, and hot topics as well spotlight our members and supporters providing a platform to showcase their knowledge and broaden their reach.

Our Money Matters webinars will provide substantive legal education and practical information for professional and personal use. We invite collaborations with other bar associations and businesses to engage in the conversation for greater financial success in our culture.
